The Santa Catalina Mountains appear straight out of a book with the snow-capped mountains in the background amid colorful trees in the front.
Fall is an ideal time to meander on the nature trails and take a scenic drive along the mountain slopes and countryside with the wind in the face. Ski enthusiasts eagerly wait for the accumulation of snow. In the hilly north of Arizona, the snowfall begins by late November.
