Port Clyde along the coast is a little warmer than the central and northern regions with average temperatures in the 35°F (1.7°C) to 47°F (8.3°C).
Rain is omnipresent and register 5" (127mm) to 7" (178mm) in many regions with a higher incidence along the coast.
Snow is regular with an average of 8" (203mm) to 9" (229mm) in the northern parts and more in the highlands and mountaintops. Days start to become shorter with the advent of winter, and the average sunshine drops to 5 hours.
